Becky Hammon and the Hammonite's Donate for TWO Great Causes!
Becky Hammon
knows that her fans are very giving people. For the past couple years her fans
have come together and have donated money to the charity of her choice as a
birthday gift to her. This year Becky chose the Battered Women's and Children's
Shelter in San Antonio.
With the recent tragedy in Haiti Becky has decided that whatever amount her fans
came up with for the Battered Women's and Children's Shelter in San Antonio, she
matched the amount of the overall total of our donations and sent it as her
donation to the victims in Haiti!

bring the two together as a solid force behind
breast health awareness and cancer prevention in San
Antonio.

Silver Stars Unveil Toyota Project Rebound
Reading & Learning Center
In partnership with Toyota, the San Antonio
Silver Stars were joined by WNBA President Donna
Orender, Silver Stars Head Coach Dan Hughes and
point guard Becky Hammon, WNBA legend Jennifer
Azzi and NBA legend George “The Iceman” Gervin
to unveil the refurbished San Antonio Silver
Stars Reading and Learning Center at the San
Juan Brady Community Center, as part of the
season-long Toyota Project Rebound. In addition
to hundreds of new books, the Reading & Learning
Center will feature new computers and new
furnishings. Following the ribbon cutting
ceremony, the team, former players and VIP’s
joined more than 80 community center youth to
explore the new space, read books and try out
the brand new computers.
